Zen launches new website

Saturday, 1 April 2006

Christchurch, NZ – March 10th 2006 – This Friday, elite sports equipment company Zen launched it’s first comprehensive website to better reach customers throughout New Zealand and overseas.

Based in Christchurch, New Zealand, Zen creates cutting-edge equipment for professional athletes. Zen is most renowned for producing and designing Sarah Ulmer’s track bike with which she broke both Olympic and World Records at Athens 2004.

Zen also produces disc wheels, spoke wheels, multisport kayaks and the celebrated Kiwi Tiller – all utilizing groundbreaking designs that make them the best performers in their fields.

Zen was founded in 1999 as the product arm of Dynamic Composites, which specializes in research and development of specialist sports equipment. Both companies are the brainchild of Milton and Graham Bloomfield, a father and son team who have spent the last decade looking for exceptional ways to marry their passion for sport and technology. Dynamic Composites is launching a separate website in tandem with the Zen site. The previous Kiwi Tiller website is now incorporated into the Zen site.

The new Zen website, designed by Lupo and written at Strategy Advertising and Design, will give customers and sports enthusiasts better access to the latest and greatest equipment coming out of Zen. It will also help to position Zen as a leading brand in the professional sports world, in keeping with the uncompromising quality of the products they produce.

Explore the new Zen site now.

Don’t forget to bookmark it so you can check back for sports and product updates, and please, leave us your feedback here. Naturally, we’re always looking for ways to improve our design.
